CQC and Health & Safety
Care Quality Commission requires that healthcare practitioners can demonstrate through evidence that they are Outcome 8 compliant.
At Goldstar Commercial Cleaning Ltd all our staff are trained and managed to meet the CQC guidelines for Cleanliness and Infection Control.
Outcome 8: The requirements for practitioners is as follows. Should a client require help or guidance we are here to help.
That you and your staff are aware of the importance of cleanliness and infection control.
That they have been trained in the role they can play in ensuring service users experience care in a clean environment and are protected from acquiring infections.
That they are able to use this knowledge to strive to continually improve standards of cleanliness and infection control.
That they have the correct tools at their disposal to accomplish this - be it chemicals, soaps, paper, gloves - and understanding what to use when.
Health and Safety in the work place for our and our clients employees is of great importance to us. We will investigate the risks associated with your site and will identify and provide risk assessment and method statements (RAMS). These will then be addressed by way of on-site training
We carefully adhere to the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH with regards to all products used on site are accompanied with Product Safety Sheets (In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 1987).
A first aid service/kit is also placed in the cleaners store to comply with H & S first Aid Regulations 1981.
Health & Safety Documentation is prepared only by IOSH and NEBOSH certified personnel with many years of experience.
